Anthony Hansen is Global Charters science instructor. He comes to global with more than 15 years of experience in the food industry in a variety of science related position. This time was spent performing such positions as Quality manager at the area's largest water bottling facility, food safety inspection of hotels, restaurants and casinos, Research and Development in the tomato industry and managing a food production facility for an Apiary supply company. Mr. Hansen received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Davis and his teaching credential from National University. He has taught science and a variety of other subjects for Center Joint Unified, Twin Rivers, and Washington Unified School Districts. He teaches General Science, Earth Science, Biology, and Forensic Science at Global Youth Charter.

Joshua Weiss is the school’s Social Studies teacher and the school's specialized services instructor. Mr. Weiss grew up in Eastern Pennsylvania where he went to Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Secondary Education and Social Science. Mr. Weiss has taught in multiple states, including: Pennsylvania, Hawaii, Delaware, and California. He has a Masters of Teaching from National University. Mr. Weiss is duel certified in Social Science and Special Education Mild/Moderate. He has experience in the classroom teaching Social Studies, Math, Science, and English; as well as working with a diversity of students with various strengths and challenges. Ionut-Valentin Plapamaru is the Mathematics teacher. He earned his Mathematics Single Subject Teaching Credential through Sacramento State University. Mr. Plapamaru also holds a BA and a MA in Pedagogy from the National University of Bucharest. Mr. Plapamaru has worked within the Center Unified School District for the past six years. He teaches Consumer Mathematics, Pre-algebra, Algebra1, Algebra 2, Geometry and Pre-calculus at Global Youth Charter School. In high school he loved creating problems and giving homework to his Math teacher. He defined a function between colors and sounds f(x)=x/(2^42) and proved that Romanian Flag, (Red, Yellow and Blue), is a G minor chord.
